Position: JEO/Copy editing / Style Editing
Job Summary:
- As a Trainee JEO/Copy editing / Style Editing , you will be responsible for learning and assisting
- in editing and improving manuscripts, articles, and other content to meet international publishing
- standards. You will undergo training to enhance your skills in grammar, style, technical
- accuracy, and clarity of written English. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career
- professionals aspiring to build expertise in academic and professional publishing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and edit manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency.
- Enhance authors text to improve the overall readability of research articles.
- Eye for detail to identify poorly written text.
- Check for language grammar and in-house style (capitalization, spaces, quotation marks,dashes, vocabulary and spellings etc.) using tools
- Improving text flow.
- Raise author queries where required and incorporate changes accordingly.
Desired Candidates:
- Science Graduates from 2024 & 2025 passed out (no standing arrears) are preferred
- Good command of the English language and grammar rules
- Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills
