Job Description:

The candidate will join the Manufacturing engineering team providing digital solutions to manage business processes throughout the Airbus group wide. As such, he/she needs to have a strong customer focus.

  • The candidate will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team; using an agile mind-set and methodology.
  • Graduate in Data Science, AI-ML, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Masters in the relevant field would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Technical requirements:

  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Traditional ML: Strong proficiency in traditional machine learning modeling is required
  • Deep Learning Frameworks: Hands-on experience or academic projects using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
  • GenAI Tools: Familiarity with LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, and vector databases, LLMs.
  • Cloud Experience: Practical knowledge of at least one major AI cloud service
  • AWS SageMaker: Notebooks, Training Jobs, and Endpoints.
  • GCP Vertex AI: Model Garden, Pipelines, and Workbench.
  • SAP BTP AI Core: Deploying and managing AI models in a business context.
  • SQL: Proficiency in writing complex queries to extract data from relational databases.
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles for automated model deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business processes and technical architecture of Airbus different platform’s landscapes.
  • Develop, fine-tune, and deploy data science models and existing programs for performance improvement.
  • Ensure customer-facing requirement analysis and delivery of digital data solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and suggest suitable solutions.
