Key Responsibilities
- Work on denied insurance claims and identify reasons for denials
- Contact US insurance companies to follow up on pending and denied claims
- Analyze EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and ERAs to determine denial causes
- Handle various denial types including authorization, eligibility, timely filing, medical necessity, and coding issues
- Initiate claim reprocessing and submit appeals through appropriate workflows
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the system
- Focus on reducing AR aging and improving revenue recovery
