This role is part of LSEG’s Fundamentals vertical within Company Data, based in Bengaluru, which caters to clients engaged in equity research. The team is responsible for collecting, processing, and updating historical financial information from companies operating globally across multiple business segments.
Role Overview: Associate Content Analyst – Bengaluru
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Shift Timing: Rotational shifts including night shifts (as per business requirements)

As an Associate Content Analyst, you will be responsible for accurately collecting, verifying, and maintaining financial statement data such as Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statements. The role demands strong analytical and accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining LSEG’s accuracy and timeliness standards.
Objective of the Role
To ensure accurate and timely delivery of global financial data by processing company-reported information, adhering to internal data collection policies, and continuously improving the quality and reliability of LSEG’s databases that serve clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain data accurately and promptly within LSEG databases.
- Ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness as per company standards.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of financial statements and market practices.
- Utilize available tools and resources to enhance data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
- Follow dynamic process updates, data standards, and operational policies.
- Deliver high productivity and meet set performance metrics consistently.
- Identify and escalate data issues and collaborate with internal/external teams to resolve queries.
- Test new database/application releases and provide expert feedback.
- Continuously develop professional knowledge of financial regulations and global reporting practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline with basic accounting or financial knowledge.
- Understanding of key accounting and financial management concepts.
- Awareness of financial statements and their components.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and general computer literacy.
- Good keyboard and data entry skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work with accuracy under pressure in a shift-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in financial data operations or content support roles.
- Exposure to company filings, financial data collection, or data analysis.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and market conventions.

Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru (Tower E, RMZ Infin), with rotational work shifts, including night and weekend shifts, as required by business needs. The role demands focus, flexibility, and teamwork to ensure accurate and timely updates of financial content.
