About GBFS Team: The Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team provide support to HQ and global regional team on Finance & Business Operation activities. This job role is to support day-to-day Sales Operations for distributor channels, ensuring clean data, timely order-to-cash execution, accurate claims processing, and visibility into sell-in / sell-through performance. This role is execution-focused with strong attention to detail and process discipline.
General Job Summary: The Sales Operations team plays a critical role in enabling revenue growth and operational excellence across distributor business. This position supports the end-to-end sales operations process, including Quoting, pricing, claims, and channel performance reporting. The role ensures data accuracy, process compliance, and timely execution of operational tasks while partnering with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, and Distributors.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain dashboards for sell-in/sell-through, revenue, pricing leakage, claims, and distributor performance.
- Own analytics, insights, and process optimization for distributor sales operations. This role turns data into decision, building scalable reporting, improving forecast accuracy, and driving channel performance with root-cause analysis.
- Partner with Sales and distributors to improve forecast accuracy; implement demand signals from POS and pipeline.
- Maintain distributor master data (accounts, quote, design registration, claims, inventory, POS) and ensure data hygiene.
- Monitor channel inventory, aging, and stock health; flag slow/non-moving items and potential stockouts.
- Prepare weekly/monthly dashboards (orders, revenue, claims status, inventory, distributor scorecards).
- Ensure adherence to policies on pricing, discounts, credit, collections, and documentation.
- Create SOPs and control frameworks; lead small improvement projects with measurable outcomes
Key skills / Experience required:
- Requires minimum 4+ years related experience in Business Operations / Sales Operations
- Master’s degree in business management / Analytics, Operations.
- Knowledge of semiconductor supply chain, distributor pricing and rebate structures.
- Working knowledge of CRM/ERP (e.g., SFDC/SAP/Oracle), Excel, Power BI/ Tableau (user level), distributor portals.
- Strategic thinking with operational rigor, continuous improvement, structured communication, cross-functional leadership.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskills with tools – Adv- Excel, Power BI etc.
- Flexible for evening calls (8PM – 11PM IST) for HQ reviews and transition calls on regular basis and/or working in shift (2.30pm to 11.30pm) as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 2+ years of business operations or related experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of business operations or related experience.
