Role Overview: Business Support Assistant – HYD
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Shift Timing: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST

As a Business Support Assistant (Associate Analyst), you will be a vital part of the Business Applications Team supporting Deloitte Belgium’s accountancy professionals. You will act as a help desk assistant, offering functional, technical, and process support for various business applications. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset.
Objective of the Role
To provide high-quality help desk and application support for Deloitte Belgium’s accountants, tax professionals, and legal teams by managing queries, resolving application issues, and contributing to uniform software usage through documentation, testing, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day support for business applications used by internal Deloitte Belgium professionals.
- Respond to queries via ServiceNow and telephone, offering solutions or escalating issues as needed.
- Analyze problems and collaborate with team members to resolve functional and technical concerns.
- Support standard business processes and participate in project follow-up activities.
- Promote and enforce the use of internal application usage guidelines.
- Log issues and contribute to initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist in testing and quality control of internal tools to ensure usability and accuracy.
- Gradually develop a comprehensive understanding of Deloitte’s business applications.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of basic PC software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams).
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and adapt to urgent tasks.
- A solution- and customer-oriented mindset with persistence in problem-solving.
- Eagerness to learn, stress-resilient, and proactive in taking initiative.
- Strong team collaboration skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior help desk or technical support experience.
- Familiarity with accounting workflows or financial systems.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Exact Online, or Silverfin is an advantage.
- Affinity with the accountancy or finance domain is a plus.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid/office-based role in Hyderabad, with fixed working hours from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST. The role involves regular coordination with international stakeholders and requires flexibility for urgent assignments or project needs.
