Job Title: Support Engineer – Manufacturing Applications

About the Role

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Center of Excellence in Hyderabad and be part of PSG IT CoE Team advancing digital manufacturing. This role ensures the stability, compliance, and continuous improvement of Manufacturing IT applications that power pharmaceutical production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for a diverse set of Manufacturing IT applications to ensure reliable, compliant operations.
  • Lead root cause analysis, manage configuration changes, and drive application enhancements.
  • Collaborate with global IT, business, and vendor teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Support upgrades, patching, and validation activities aligned with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and data-integrity principles.
  • Provide user training, onboarding, and detailed support documentation.
  • Maintain clear, compliant documentation for incidents, configuration changes, and validations.
  • Promote standard practices and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience supporting Manufacturing IT applications.
  • Knowledge of MES, SCADA, historian, or batch-management systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and GxP-validated environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
